I know it's probably best to use official Apple adapters, but I don't want to shell out 70 euros for this thing if it won't be an improvement. ![]() I am thinking that there might be a possibility that text looks even worse on MacOS due to this adapter that I have perhaps? I am wondering if you guys might have some information about this and if official Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter (which is fairly pricey, the usual) might work better? I am thinking about buying it but figured I'd come here first. ![]() I know that there is a difference on how MacOS renders fonts on non-retina displays, but output of text on my 23.8 inch 1920x1080p monitor looks really bad when using HDMI via this adapter, as compared to how Linux and Winshit are rendering it (using Linux and Winshit withut this adapter). ACE Lab announces the new Spider Board Adapter which works with PC-3000 Flash and changes the ways to recover data. With the MacBook, in the same IT store I bought some 3rd party "no-name" USB-C adapter with HDMI, USB-A and USB-c ports. I mostly use it as a laptop, but I'd like to use it more connected to my monitor. ![]() About a year ago I bought MacBook Air M1.
